Debate Fantasy
Oct. 15th, 2008 08:50 pmI would really love, given the current climate, for both candidates to make a statement tonight condemning the violent asshattery of the fringes of their respective parties.
I would love for them to remind the audience that they are both Americans, and that no matter what party you belong to, or candidate you support, we are all Americans.
I want them to say, in plain words, that HATE is NOT an American value.
It's getting ugly. If SOMEONE doesn't take leadership and stop this, I am betting that between now and election day, something violent is going to happen between Obama supporters and McCain Supporters. I can only hope it won't be tragic.
